AMORPH.senses combines LiDAR data ingestion, real-time processing, and analytics in one unified system. It integrates any LiDAR sensor to generate precise 3D point clouds, scaling across large environments with secure, configurable data flow. The 3D perception engine filters and reconstructs this data, detecting and tracking people or objects with high accuracy—even in dense or complex conditions. The refined information turns into live KPIs, visual dashboards, and alerts, revealing queues, occupancy, and movement patterns. Sensors
Amorph Systems has integrated sensors from a wide range of LiDAR hardware suppliers, enabling the deployment of the most suitable device for each specific application. From long-range to near-field solutions, including focus-area and dome sensors, the company offers a comprehensive portfolio to meet the diverse needs of its customers.
Housing
With its robust, self-designed housing for the Plug & Play BOXY, Amorph Systems has set a benchmark in the market. In addition, the company continuously develops new constructions for indoor and outdoor and offers individual, application-specific designs when required.
Edge devices
The AMORPH.senses perception software serves as the core intelligence of the system and operates optimally – though not necessarily -in close proximity to the sensor on an edge device. To support a wide range of installation scenarios, Amorph Systems relies on a broad selection of proven hardware components, ranging from Intel NUC PCs to industrial-grade devices.
Mounting kits
Amorph Systems uses proprietary mounting kits for its LiDAR installations, enabling sensors to be flexibly installed at almost any position. Whether on ceilings of any height, walls, pillars, or directly on objects the optimal installation position is defined in advance using the Amorph Systems LiDAR Planner, taking into account the available field of view and existing infrastructure.
Connectivity
Connectivity is a prerequisite, and the system is designed for maximum flexibility to seamlessly integrate with existing connectivity infrastructure. Whether wired, Wi-Fi–based, or using 4G/5G, the solution ensures reliable sensor cluster communication and secure data transfer to the cloud.
Power supply
A power supply is the only required infrastructure component. Customers can choose between standard power plugs to operate the Plug & Play BOXY or supplying power directly to the sensors via Power over Ethernet (PoE).
From compact indoor setups to large-scale deployments, AMORPH.senses is built to adapt. Amorph Systems delivers flexible configurations—from Plug & Play kits to server-based architectures—across indoor and outdoor environments.
Indoor
In an indoor setup typically Amorphs’ Plug&Play kit BOXY is used. BOXY is a combination of sensor, edge computing device and power unit in a self-designed box for easy installation and immediate use. Only power supply is necessary and thereby costs for infrastructure such as cabling or backend equipment like servers and switches can be saved. BOXY can be mounted everywhere in every position, hanging from a ceiling or standing upright on an object.
Outdoor
For outdoor setups LiDAR sensors are installed in robust, weatherproof housings and mounted on poles, walls, bridges, etc. They have special requirements such as IP67/IP68 rated enclosures or a wide range of operating temperatures to resist. Therefore, Amorph Systems has developed a special outdoor BOXY which can be adopted to the surrounding conditions if needed.
Temporary
Temporary setups are designed for fast and flexible deployment in short-term scenarios. Using a Plug & Play BOXY mounted on a stand, mobile installations can be quickly deployed, measured, and removed with minimal effort. This makes them ideal for events, pilot projects, and proof-of-concept installations, enabling rapid data collection without the need for permanent infrastructure changes.
Sensor Cluster
In a sensor cluster setup, multiple LiDAR sensors can be installed on walls, ceilings of any height -including low ceilings-or pillars to cover larger or more complex areas. The sensors operate as a coordinated system and are connected to a shared server, enabling comprehensive area coverage and accurate tracking across zones. This setup is ideal for environments with high traffic volumes or complex movement patterns, such as transportation hubs or public facilities.
